"Any implant clinician experienced enough to have had an implant betray them is familiar with that moment of anxiety when you turn the healing abutment for the first time and wait to see if the implant comes with it.
It doesn't happen often, but the occasion it does is enough to fuel the anxiety for a long time. That heartbreaking moment is a day-killer. The moment the implant moves, you have passed the moment of no return. You cannot leave the implant.

- In Vivo Clinical Correlation (BMC 2022): AnyCheck shows a statistically significant positive correlation with the RFA (Osstell ISQ) method across multiple follow-up intervals: immediately after implantation (r = 0.64), 1 week (r = 0.29), 2 weeks (r = 0.68), 3 weeks (r = 0.53), 4 weeks (r = 0.68), and 6 weeks (r = 0.56). Both IST and ISQ tracking curves decrease during the first postoperative week and recover from the second week.
- In Vitro Biomechanical Validity (JOMI 2021): Controlled testing confirms a near-perfect mathematical correlation with resonance frequency analysis benchmarks (IST & ISQ: ρ = 0.99, P < .001; IST & PTV: ρ = -1.00, P < .001; ISQ & PTV: ρ = -0.99, P < .001), indicating high sensitivity to implant micro-mobility changes.
- Intelligent Safety Mode: AnyCheck significantly reduces tissue strain by using only 6 automated strokes compared to legacy 16-stroke percussion systems. If secondary stability drops to 59 IST or below, the safety cut-out mechanism automatically restricts the cycle to 2 taps to protect the vulnerable bone-implant interface.

In tapping-type devices, longer healing abutments produce lower displayed values than the actual stability; shorter abutments produce higher values. IST changes by 2 for every 1 mm difference in abutment height.
