C-TW3
Electric Torque Wrench

The C-TW3 is a compact, cordless electric torque wrench for implant dentistry — delivering precise, controlled torque from 10 to 55 N·cm at low speed. Rechargeable and free of a trailing cord, it pairs a simple multi-button layout for one-touch control of torque, speed and direction with an intelligent deceleration mode that eases off automatically as the target torque approaches — for confident final seating at just 100 g in the hand.

Clinical Insight

What clinicians are saying

Real-world feedback from implant clinicians using the C-TW3 for seating and torque verification.

"For final seating I want to feel in control of the last few N·cm, not just hear a click. The deceleration mode slows the driver right down as it nears the set value, so I'm placing the abutment smoothly instead of over-running the torque. Reading the exact figure off the device takes the guesswork out of it for me."

Abutment Seating · Torque Control

"It's light enough that my hand doesn't tire on a longer list, and small enough to get a straight line into the posterior. Switching torque, speed and direction from the buttons keeps my attention on the patient rather than on setting up the instrument. For routine placements it's become the one I reach for."

Product Documentation

Why C-TW3

Precise torque, in a tool that disappears in the hand

Three things an implant clinician wants from a powered torque driver — an accurate number, a controlled finish, and a body light enough to forget about.

Accurate Torque

A 10–55 N·cm range in 5 N·cm steps, held to ±3 N·cm — set the value for the system in front of you and let the device control the finish.

Controlled Finish

Intelligent deceleration eases the driver down as it nears the target, so final seating is smooth and controlled rather than an abrupt stop.

Compact & Light

About 100 g and roughly 17 mm across — a slim, balanced body that reduces hand fatigue and reaches straight into the posterior.

Highlights

Designed around the final few newton-centimetres

Every detail of the C-TW3 is built to make controlled, repeatable torque delivery simple at the chairside.

Precision

Set the number, hold the number

Torque is set across 10–55 N·cm in 5 N·cm increments and held to ±3 N·cm, so the value you choose for the implant system is the value delivered — read directly from the device rather than estimated by feel.

C-TW3 multi-button control layout for torque, speed and direction

Control

One-touch torque, speed & direction

A simple multi-button layout gives direct access to the four core functions — torque, speed, direction and calibration — with forward/reverse at your fingertips, keeping attention on the patient, not on the instrument.

C-TW3 rotatable handpiece head improving intraoral access

Access

Rotatable head for every position

The handpiece head rotates to improve the line of approach to different intraoral positions — helping deliver straight, controlled torque even in the posterior, where access is tightest.

C-TW3 compact ergonomic body held in one hand

Cordless & Ergonomic

Light in the hand, free of a cord

A cordless, rechargeable handpiece at about 100 g and a maximum grip diameter near 17 mm — the balanced body moves freely at the chairside without a trailing cord, reducing operator fatigue across a full implant list. Recharged between cases via the AC adapter.

Operating Modes

Two ways to reach the target

Choose a constant-speed finish or an automatic deceleration as the target torque approaches.

Standard Mode

Constant speed control — the driver runs at the set speed and stops immediately once the target torque is reached.

Intelligent Deceleration Mode

Above a set speed of 20 r/min, the driver slows automatically — reducing by 10 r/min (with a beep) as torque reaches 60% of the set value, and again at 90% — then returns to speed as the load eases, for a smooth, controlled final seating.

After activation, the C-TW3 runs a 15-second automatic calibration countdown before use.

Applications

Low speed, high torque — where it's needed

A powered torque driver for the controlled, low-speed stages of implant and related procedures.

Implant Placement
Controlled, low-speed insertion of the implant fixture to the target torque.
Abutment Placement
Seating and final torque of abutments to manufacturer-specified values.
Orthodontic Mini-Screws
Precise placement of orthodontic mini-screws at controlled torque.

Operating Tips

Getting the most from the C-TW3

Practical guidance for precise, repeatable torque at the chairside.

1
Let the auto-calibration finish before you start. After switching on, the device runs a 15-second calibration countdown. Allow it to complete so the torque reading is accurate for the case ahead.
2
Set torque to the implant manufacturer's value. Choose the target in 5 N·cm steps to match the fixture or abutment specification. The ±3 N·cm accuracy means the set value is what the device delivers — avoid exceeding the manufacturer's recommended torque.
3
Use Intelligent Deceleration for final seating. For the last stage of abutment or fixture seating, the deceleration mode slows the driver as it nears the target — giving a smoother, more controlled finish than a constant-speed stop.
4
Rotate the head for a straight line of approach. Adjust the handpiece head so the driver meets the screw axis squarely, especially in the posterior — a straight approach keeps the torque reading true and protects the screw head.
5
Sterilise the right parts the right way. The contra-angle must be cleaned, disinfected and steam-sterilised at 134 °C before first use and between patients — and, per the Instructions for Use, all patient-contact parts should be cleaned and sterilised before use. The motor handpiece and AC adapter must not be autoclaved or immersed — wipe their surfaces with a 75% alcohol or approved disinfectant wipe only.
6
Charge between cases, and handle with care. Recharge via the AC adapter when the battery is low (do not operate while charging). Power the device off before changing the contra-angle or a screwdriver, and never use it as a manual ratchet — forcing it by hand can damage the internal gear.
⚠ Clinical Notice: The C-TW3 is intended for professional dental use only, for controlled torque delivery in implant and related procedures. It is contraindicated for patients with cardiac pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices, and should be used with caution in patients with heart disease, pregnant women and children. Always set torque to the implant manufacturer's specified value, confirm compatibility of drivers and connections, and follow the Instructions for Use for operation, cleaning, sterilisation and maintenance requirements.
