Dual Image Capture

Qraypen C captures a standard high-resolution white-light image and a QLF™ fluorescence image at the same time with a single press of the capture button. Both images appear on the monitor immediately — no mode switching, no repeat positioning, no additional capture steps required.
LED System
All-in-one LED — three modes, adjustable brightness
White light, blue QLF™ light (405nm), and alternating white/blue modes are all built into the handpiece head — no head removal or lens change needed to switch between modes. LED brightness adjusts across three levels. Mode changes are made directly on the handpiece without interrupting the examination.
Software & Usability
LINKDENS integration — one-hand capture, immediate consultation
Qraypen C works with LINKDENS, AIOBIO's dedicated QLF™ capture and analysis software. Images are auto-saved on capture and can be pulled up immediately for chairside consultation or exported to practice management software. The pen-form handpiece is designed for single-handed operation: middle finger on the button for maxillary, thumb for mandibular — autofocus delivers a sharp image instantly with no manual adjustment needed.

QLF™ imaging — individual tooth assessment
Standard white-light and QLF™ fluorescence images captured simultaneously with Qraypen C — hidden findings revealed at the individual tooth level. Under 405nm blue light, carious demineralisation appears as a loss of green fluorescence; bacterial plaque fluoresces red via porphyrin emission — both invisible under white light alone.

Interproximal demineralisation shows as a loss of green fluorescence under 405nm blue light — invisible under white-light examination. Early identification enables intervention before the lesion progresses to cavitation or involves the adjacent tooth.
