Parasorb® Fleece

Parasorb® Fleece is a resorbable collagen fleece made of native equine collagen fibrils — a resorbable wound covering that can also serve as an inlay or defect filler. Its sponge-like structure absorbs large amounts of fluid for rapid, safe haemostasis and stabilises the blood clot, while cutting and adapting easily to irregular defects. As collagen, it is completely resorbable — with no second procedure needed for removal.

Getting the most from Parasorb® Fleece

Reach for the fleece form on irregular defects. The pad shape adapts well to irregular wound geometries — cut and shape it chairside so it sits fully against the defect.

Place, then apply light pressure. The sponge-like structure absorbs large amounts of fluid and stabilises the blood clot; seating it into the site with brief, gentle compression supports rapid, safe haemostasis.

Use it to cover grafted or donor soft-tissue sites. Parasorb® Fleece supports wound coverage after soft-tissue grafting and integrates into the surrounding tissue.

No removal step to plan for. As a collagen device it is completely resorbable, so there is nothing to take out at review.
